Fast Track to Global Expansion: Formula 1 and Paramount+ Announce Partnership

Formula 1 has announced an exciting partnership with the renowned streaming platform Paramount+. Originating as ‘CBS All Access’ in 2014, the subscription service rebranded to Paramount+ in 2021 under the ownership of Paramount Global.

Formula 1 revealed its collaboration with the prominent streaming platform, Paramount+. Initially launched as ‘CBS All Access’ in 2014, the subscription service rebranded to Paramount+ in 2021 under the ownership of Paramount Global.

Paramount+ logos were displayed around the track at the Australian Grand Prix earlier this month. As part of the partnership, F1 states that Paramount+’s content will be integrated into F1 events globally. This includes screening the platform’s series and movies in Fan Zone areas during race weekends.

Moreover, expect to see additional trackside branding and promotional opportunities at upcoming races in Miami, Montreal, Spielberg, Silverstone, Monza, Suzuka, Austin, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, and Las Vegas this year.

Brandon Snow, Managing Director of Commercial at Formula 1, expressed that this partnership demonstrates the organization’s continuous dedication to seeking innovative ways to promote the sport and attract new fans.

“Paramount+ and its content have experienced tremendous popularity and rapid growth in recent years, similar to F1’s trajectory. By joining forces, we aim to utilize our global platforms and combined expertise in entertainment to further improve the fan experience and elevate both Formula 1 and Paramount+ to new heights,” said Marco Nobili, Executive Vice President and International General Manager at Paramount+.

He added, “As Paramount+ continually pursues novel and inventive strategies to engage our worldwide audiences, we are confident that partnering with Formula 1 will contribute significantly to our global expansion.”
