Valtteri Bottas finished Alfa Romeo F1’s testing with more than 130 laps completed. The Finnish driver expressed “good feelings” with the C43.

Valtteri Bottas and Alfa Romeo F1 had a good day in Bahrain, with the Finnish driver being the only one from the team in action and completing 131 laps in the C43. This brings the team’s total to 401 laps over the three days, equivalent to 2,170 kilometers.

Bottas stated, “Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with how these testing days went.”

Valtteri Bottas expressed his satisfaction with the testing days, citing good sensations in the car and improvements made during the winter. Despite a technical issue that caused some lost time, Bottas completed the entire program for the day and thanked the mechanics and everyone at the Hinwil factory. He looks forward to getting back on track and experiencing the race again in a week.

Jan Monchaux, the technical director of the Switzerland-based team, shares the same opinion: “We can be satisfied with these three days of solid work.”

Jan Monchaux, the technical director of the Swiss-based team, also expressed satisfaction, saying “We can be satisfied with these three days of solid work.”

“The most important thing when you have limited testing is to check all the boxes, and we managed to do that: we collected a lot of data and I think we prepared for the season as best we could. Reliability was reasonably good at this stage of the season, and when we had some minor problems, the good work of our team allowed us to make up for lost time without affecting our program,” he added.

“We have to thank our colleagues in Hinwil, as well as our race team, for putting us in the best possible position before these testing sessions. Performance was not yet our main objective, we didn’t focus on what others were doing but just on ourselves,” said Jan Monchaux, the team’s technical director.

“We still have some work to do like everyone else on the grid before next week. Of course, we remain focused on delivering our best work in what will be a long season, and we are excited to finally get back to racing,” said the team.
