Alfa Romeo Racing, operated by Sauber, is the First Formula One Team to Showcase its 2023 Vehicle.

Haas, Red Bull, and Williams Unveiled Their New Paint Jobs, However, These Designs Will Not Match the Vehicles to be Used During the Upcoming Bahrain Pre-Season Test.

On Tuesday morning, Alfa Romeo debuted the C43 with a red and black exterior design. The vehicle will be put through its first track test at Barcelona later in the week.

The Car is the First to Showcase the Team’s New Title Sponsor, Stake, as Former Main Partner Orlen Moved to AlphaTauri During the Off-Season.

The departure of Orlen marked the end of Robert Kubica’s tenure with the team, resulting in 2022 F2 runner-up, Theo Pourchaire, being the only remaining reserve driver. The Team Will Also Have Access to Alfa Romeo Driver Antonio Giovinazzi Who is Acting as a Reserve Driver for Ferrari.

During the off-season, Sauber experienced a shift in title sponsorship and welcomed Andreas Seidl as the new CEO.

Former McLaren staff member, Seidl, will oversee the team’s transition into a factory team for Audi in 2026.

Seidl has not designated a team principal yet and has temporarily named Alessandro Alunni Bravi as the official “team representative.

This Year Signifies the End of Alfa Romeo’s Branding Agreement with Sauber Team, Which Audi Acquired a Minority Stake In Last Month.

Audi Will Gradually Acquire Sauber and Eventually Hold a Majority Stake in the Company, While Current Owner Finn Rausing Will Maintain a Minority Interest.

Audi has started work on its Formula One engine project by expanding its Neuburg facility. The facility has been manufacturing Audi’s vehicles for Dakar, Formula E, DTM, and Le Mans since 2014. The Expansion Includes the Hiring of New Staff and Construction of a New Building.

Audi intends to have a test engine ready by 2025 for use in a prototype vehicle, prior to the introduction of new engine regulations in 2026.

Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou Will Continue as Alfa Romeo’s Drivers for a Second Straight Season.”

Thanks to Them, Alfa Romeo Just Barely Retained Its Sixth Place in the Constructors’ Championship on a Tiebreaker, as Aston Martin’s Late-Season Surge Resulted in Equal Points.
