Red Bull to Showcase Fan-Designed Liveries at American F1 Events

The Red Bull Formula 1 team will showcase distinct liveries during the three races taking place in the United States during the 2023 season.
Additionally, Red Bull has announced that these special designs were created by fans and will be displayed at the American Formula 1 races in 2023.
During the unveiling of the Red Bull RB19 in New York on Friday, team leader Christian Horner introduced a fan contest named “Make Your Mark.”
The car will primarily retain the recognizable Red Bull color scheme for the season, however, the three US races will showcase fan-created modifications as part of a promotion in partnership with Red Bull’s primary sponsor, Oracle.
The campaign website states that fans will have the chance to design the side chassis and end plates livery.
The victors will receive flights, lodgings, and a behind-the-scenes garage tour during the competition’s race weekend.
Red Bull has a history of showcasing unique liveries, such as the Star Wars-inspired design in 2005 and a red and white Honda tribute livery in Turkey in 2021.
According to Horner, “The upcoming event will be a competition, a wonderful opportunity, and we’ve thoroughly thought it through – however, we are aware that it’s what the spectators crave.”
The contest will commence with the Miami Grand Prix, happening on May 5-7, followed by the Las Vegas and Austin races in October and November respectively, as part of the 2023 race schedule.
In addition, Red Bull has revealed a Red Bull RB14 “Art Car” design (as seen above), created by artist Mr. Doodle, which will be sold through an auction with the earnings going to the Red Bull Wings for Life charitable organization.
