Formula 1 has signed a multi-year agreement with beIN Sports

Formula 1 has signed a multi-year agreement with beIN Sports, which is owned by the state of Qatar, to broadcast its events in 10 Asian territories.

The deal, which will be valid from 2023 to 2025, will see beIN Sports broadcasting Formula 1 in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

beIN Sports will have the exclusive right to air all 23 grand prix races, including practice and qualifying sessions, in 2023.

Qatar is increasing its involvement in Formula 1 this year, and Qatar Airways, which is owned by the state, is likely to take over as one of the championship’s global partners, replacing Emirates.
