Mick Schumacher visits the Haas F1 Team factory to complete his seat fit for his debut season in Formula 1.
Mick Schumacher has stepped out of his father’s shadow to carve his own path. We get to know the German a little better ahead of his debut season.
The video also showcases the expertise of the young Schumacher. He talks to the engineer about the angle at which the neck support should be placed, and actively thinks along with his team. It remains to be seen how the 21-year-old driver will fare in the team led by Guenther Steiner, but he seems ready for the challenge nonetheless.
The six-minute video shows the son of the German racing legend trying out the seat that was prepared for him, with helmet and steering wheel as well.
Mick Schumacher will make his official debut in Formula 1 at Haas next season. This is of course preceded by a number of preparations, including the well-known seat fitting. Today Haas released some interesting footage of the seat fitting session that the team had with the young driver last Friday.
