2021 Rallye Monte Carlo Highlights Stage 8 – 9 – Bad luck for Ott Tänak / Martin Järveoja (Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT) on Saturday morning…
Sébastien Ogier therefore commands the provisional classification with 13 ”ahead of Elfyn Evans. These are the words of the multiple champion at the end of today’s day: “On the first test the conditions were really difficult. In some corners we didn’t have enough grip with the tires ”. Complicated day for Evans despite the victory of SS 11: “A frustrating day, tomorrow we will try to put pressure on Ogier”. Everything is still under discussion, even if the French ace’s consistency promises the eighth victory in the most famous rally in the world. 20-year-old Kalle Rovanperä stays on one minute behind, battling Thierry Neuville for the third step of the podium, while Ott Tänak is forced to retire. In Wrc2 it is always Andreas Mikkelsen (7th overall) who sets the pace. Tomorrow the last four special stages (complete with a final Power Stage) will tell us who will win the first win of the season.
