2020 ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

Formula 1 2020 championship season has officially ended with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, bringing to a close an exhilarating season of racing.

Max Verstappen capped off his 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship season with a commanding performance at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, taking the win by over 10 seconds ahead of Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas. Hamilton, Bottas’ teammate, came in third place. At the start, Verstappen made a strong start and easily took the lead ahead of Bottas, with Hamilton following in third.

Max Verstappen dominated the championship, while all eyes were on the fight for second place, which was ultimately determined on the final lap at Yas Marina between Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc.

Lewis Hamilton stepped away from the sport and experienced his worst F1 season to date, without a single victory for the first time in his career.

Sebastian Vettel ended his run with a 11th place finish in the standings, as his team at Aston Martin placed 7th in the Constructors’ rankings, with Ferrari and Alpine also having successful performances.
