HAMILTON : THE F1 COULDN’T HAVE CHOSEN BETTER THAN DOMENICALI AS CEO

It had been rumoured for a while, but on Friday it was officially announced that Stefano Domenicali will replace Chase Carey as CEO of Formula 1 for Liberty Media.
(Hamilton Domenicali CEO) – The former Ferrari team boss is popular in the paddock, and with Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton.
“I know Stefano very well, he is one of the nicest guys. I honestly don’t think they could have chosen a better person to take Chase’s place. He did a great job and always had a good approach,” said the six-time world champion to RaceFans.net.
Hamilton has never worked directly with Domeinicali, but comes to that verdict mainly on the basis of the warm character of the Italian. “I think Stefano has a good heart. He has a good family with good values. The future is positive.”
In other corners of the paddock the choice for Domenicali is especially praised because it is a man with a lot of experience in Formula 1. Although everyone was satisfied with Carey, he remained an outsider on some points.
