F1 STRONGEST OPPONENT : VETTEL PREFERS WEBBER OVER RICCIARDO

Sebastian Vettel competed in Formula 1 against teammates Vitantonio Liuzzi, Sebastien Bourdais, Mark Webber, Daniel Ricciardo, Kimi Raikkonen and Charles Leclerc.
Sebastian Vettel believes that not Daniel Ricciardo, but Mark Webber was his strongest opponent in his Formula 1 career. The 33-year-old driver has had several opponents in his career, but Webber is the one who he remembers the fondest.
“At the time, he was just a little bit further in his career,” Vettel explains his choice to Sky Sports. When the German made his move, he was 22 years old. Webber was 33 at the time. “He was a bit more mature than I was. That made for a great fight within the team. Things got tough at times, but we get along well now,” concludes Vettel.
In the end, Vettel doesn’t choose Ricciardo, the driver who beat him at Red Bull in 2014. “That was a very short and difficult year, but it had to do with several things. In spite of that, he was just very strong as an opponent”, Vettel admits. In addition, Vettel will not soon forget the driving skills of Kimi Raikkonen.
