VETTEL CAN T GET THE SF1000 UNDER CONTROL

Sebastian Vettel only 15th place, and ultimately qualified down in 14th – sandwiched by customer Ferrari engine runners Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean. He was half a second slower than Leclerc in Q2.

While Charles Leclerc has managed to take fifth place on the grid, Sebastian Vettel must start the race from P14. The German is therefore not happy with his performance in qualifying.

From next season, Sebastian Vettel will drive for the Aston Martin Racing Point team, but until then he will have to keep driving in the SF1000. This weekend is also a special race for the team, as it is the 1000th Grand Prix for Ferrari in Formula 1.

Despite the fact that Mugello is also a circuit that is owned by Ferrari, Vettel does not get along well in the SF1000. “It’s a bit of a struggle with the car. But it’s been a fight all year,” says the German in front of the Sky Sports F1 camera.

“Of course we try everything to get a good result and we try to understand the car better. I also try to adapt myself to the car as best I can and to correct on the track, but there are still things that we need to take a good look at,” concludes the disappointed Vettel.
