There are indeed rumors that four new dates should soon be confirmed by Liberty Media, bringing a 2020 calendar completely to a total of 17 races. Following Autosport has also been informed that a Grand Prix will be held in Istanbul in November.

This means that the calendar of this season will probably indeed contain seventeen Grand Prix Update | 2020 calendar very likely contains 17 Grands Prix with Istanbul. Jerez seems to be out of the boat and so a return of the Formula 1 circus is missing.

The Formula 1 calendar currently counts 13 races, but four more will be added. After it became clear earlier that Jerez and Istanbul are an option, the race in Turkey will in all likelihood take place.

MORE NEWS : WHY FERRARI ALWAYS PUSHES THEIR DRIVERS AWAY

On Tuesday morning Racefans announces that the complete Formula 1 calendar will consist of 17 races. In the meantime, Formula 1 has already completed six races, but the details of the season after the Grand Prix at Imola are not yet known. That seems to change now.

Where earlier mentioned the return of Jerez and Istanbul, Racefans is now able to report that Istanbul is actually returning to the Formula 1 calendar and that the race will take place on November 15th. Jerez is not on that predicted calendar, but still Formula 1 will reach 17 races.

According to Racefans there will be two races in Bahrain (29 November and 6 December) and the final Grand Prix will be in Bahrain again on 12 December. For the time being, Formula 1 hasn’t announced anything yet and Jerez and Istanbul themselves haven’t heard anything yet.
