TOTO WOLFF SHOCKED AFTER THE GRAND PRIX OF THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY

Toto Wolff looks confused after the Grand Prix of the 70th anniversary. Although Max Verstappen’s put on an incredible performance in the Red Bull car, the Mercedes team boss is still unsure how his team managed to lose their advantage in Silverstone.
Toto Wolff shocked after the Grand Prix of the 70TH Anniversary – Wolff looks surprised in front of the Sky Sports cameras. “I’m amazed that this was possible just like that. How this could have happened? I wonder. Max just kept going faster and faster while we were eating up our tires. We have to find out why, we really have to get the problem out.”
Wolff soon saw that it was going to be a difficult afternoon for Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. “We weren’t even the fastest car and our tires broke in no time. I saw that we couldn’t win anymore so we just focused on securing the podium places.”
Wolff mentions that Sunday afternoon’s race was a perfect example of the unpredictability of Formula 1. “You should always be on your toes. People say that we are dominant and simply win everything, but today it was the opposite. Hopefully we will have found a solution by the time we race in Spain. In fact, we have to find one.”
