F1 2020 British GP weather forecast and timetable. Sunday sees the seventy-one running of the British Grand Prix. This and the race in Italy are the only two events to have featured in every year of the World Championship. In fact, one could say that, if Formula 1 has a home, it’s probably Silverstone.

From the Formula 1 teams’ point of view, different weather conditions can result in very different races, and Formula 1 teams adapt their strategy accordingly, for example using different tyres in wet conditions, and taking account of cross winds which can cause stability problems at high speeds.

It is always well worth checking the weather before any grand prix as it can often throw a curve ball into the mix, although this time Silverstone will most likely be a straightforward weekend.

Conditions appear excellent ahead of the 2020 F1 British Grand Prix weekend. The temperature for race day is expected to be around 20-21 degrees, while according to the latest forecast, there is no chance of rain for Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

However, the temperatures for Friday should be a lot higher, which means that managing the tyres on race-day could prove different than what the data will show during the free practice sessions.
