F1 : KIMI RAIKKONEN’S FAREWELL TOUR?

Rumours have started gaining traction that this could be Kimi’s last season with Alfa Romeo and potentially in Formula 1.
The Iceman currently is not contracted to Alfa Romeo past 2020 and with no potential suitors as of yet, could we be seeing Kimi’s last season in F1?
From wild party boy to consummate family man, who would ever have thought of Kimi Raikkonen like this. The veteran is forty, has a house, trees, and a family. The unsocial Finn generally keeps his jaw tight, however, the Alfa Romeo driver presently talks genuinely about the all-encompassing winter break and his life before the Italian paper Corriere Della Sera.
The Finn is as yet the last Ferrari champion, yet he embraces current circumstances. As per the paper, his motocross track in the Finnish woods despite everything gives no indication of extraordinary wear, since the Raikkonen family is in isolation. He likes to invest his energy at home with his wife Minttu and their kids.
Among the Finnish woods, on his estate, where he additionally had a motocross track assembled. Mud and bounces show no breaks following quite a while of isolation. Indeed, he says that he can enjoy with kids more and that little has changed compared to before. At forty he is the most established F1 driver.
Kimi Raikkonen is still feeling motivated and ready to race any day.
“As long as I have fun and I have motivation. Now I feel more motivated than ever and I want to race again.”
PEREZ WEIGHING UP ALFA ROMEO SEAT
Bild stated that Aston Martin will pay out the contract of Perez, even though the Mexican has one until the 2022 F1 season. The Mexican report adds that the Vettel announcement may come by the British GP.
According to the official F1 website, “Perez declined to name the F1 team who got in touch, but my sources suggest Alfa Romeo are the ones interested in recruiting the Mexican, in what would be a return to the squad – then known as Sauber – who gave him his F1 debut and put his star on the map. Principally with his mega drive to second in the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix.”
If a deal is indeed presented to Perez, it could be at the cost of Kimi Raikkonen. This is because Antonio Giovinazzi’s seat is protected by Ferrari. The Italian has a seat reserved for him at Alfa, on account of him being Ferrari’s reserve driver.
If Kimi were to retire at the end of the season when his contract expires, Alfa could not get a better replacement than Perez. Having been with the team before, he knows a lot of its staff well. Plus, he would bring with him his experience of nearly 200 races.
