OFFICIAL: NÜRBURGRING GRAND PRIX RETURNS TO F1 CALENDAR 2020

The Nürburgring Grand Prix is back on the race calendar 2020. The signatures have been placed and the announcement is expected very soon.
Official Nürburgring grand prix returns to f1 calendar 2020. The German RTL knows for sure: there will be rides at the Nürburgring this year. According to the channel the Grand Prix will be added to the calendar together with a race in Portugal and Italy.
On Thursday it was announced that there will not be ridden at Hockenheim this year but now RTL reports that there will be a German Grand Prix. As was already rumoured in the circuit it would take place around the famous Nürburgring. The race weekend will take place from 9 to 11 October. In 2006 there was the last race on the classic circuit.
Besides a race in Germany there is more news. Two other races have been confirmed according to the TV station. Namely a race in Portimao, Portugal and a third race in Italy on the illustrious Imola. That would mean that we have a calendar with thirteen races that all take place in Europe.
Official Nürburgring grand prix, which last hosted a Formula 1 race in 2013, is being considered to host a race as F1 continues its scramble to reach a schedule of as many as 16-18 races.
The first three races are now over and next weekend the Formula 1 circus will go to Silverstone for a double meeting.
