Wolff About Vettel : It Is Lawrence’s Decision «Good Marketing Tool» for Aston Martin F1

Lawrence Stroll, billionaire, boss of the Racing Point team in Formula 1 and majority investor in Aston Martin, is the executive chairman of the winged brand.
Wolff About Vettel : It Is Lawrence’s Decision “Important Marketing Tool” for Aston Martin F1. Toto Wolff, Mercedes Team Principal, revealed that he wasn’t involved in any of the negotiations between Sebastian Vettel and Racing Point. However, Wolff believes Vettel joining Aston Martin F1 in 2021 would be a good marketing tool for the team.
Toto Wolff is convinced that Sebastian Vettel would add something to Aston Martin F1. If not because of his driving skills, then the fact that the British car brand is bringing a star to the team. Wolff himself will benefit when the shares of Aston Martin soar.
The Mercedes team boss decided some time ago to invest 42 million euros in Aston Martin. According to Formel1, he sees Vettel as an excellent candidate to make that investment worth a little more: “Vettel could be a great help in marketing Aston Martin F1.”
“Sebastian Vettel is a four-time world champion with an enormous amount of technical knowledge and experience’, continues the Austrian. If it were up to Wolff, he would complete the deal with the Heppenheimer.
However, the shares Wolff bought in the parent company of the Formula 1 team do not give him any influence. “I’m not involved at all in any discussions between Lawrence Stroll, Otmar Szafnauer and Vettel.”
“My shares in the car manufacturer have nothing to do with the Formula 1 team. It’s Stroll’s final decision who will be in those cars”, concludes Wolff.
