WEATHER FORECAST AND TIMETABLE 2020 HUNGARIAN GP : FIRST RACE IN THE RAIN?

Formula 1 moves on to the Hungaroring for the Hungarian Grand Prix on 17-19 July. No fans will be present at the race.
After a great qualifying at the Red Bull Ring in the rain, it’s time for the Grand Prix of Hungary this weekend.
The temperatures are rising, but there are also regular showers forecasted during the weekend. F1Lead brings you the latest weather forecast on the Hungaroring.
On Friday the first two free practice sessions will take place in Hungary. Both in the morning and in the afternoon there is a high chance of rain showers. Until now, the chance of precipitation on the Hungaroring is over 60 perfect throughout the day, with the greatest chance of rain in the afternoon. The sun will probably not be visible at all on Friday.
Dry qualification, chance of race in the rain
The risk of precipitation and cloudiness gradually decrease on Saturday. The sun breaks through the clouds again and the temperature rises to about 22 degrees. The drivers can enjoy the dry conditions during the third free practice. We will probably not see a repetition of last week after this: the qualification is expected to be run on a dry track.
However, the weather changes completely on Sunday. With a chance of precipitation of no less than 80 percent, there is a very high chance that we will experience the first race in the rain of the year. Right after Sunday, however, high temperatures with a lot of sun are expected around the Hungaroring: there is a chance that the showers will pass the circuit and we will see a race in the sun.
