PEREZ AS A TEAMMATE OF VERSTAPPEN? “WHY NOT?”

It will be a remarkable transfer, but Red Bull Racing will also be discussed as a possible option for Sergio Perez. He would then have to succeed the disappointing Alexander Albon.
During the press conference on Thursday Sergio Perez was asked by RaceFans if he is ready to take on Max Verstappen in the team. “I believe in this business you are prepared to go up against anybody. You believe that you are the best, one of the best out there. So why not?”
It would be a special transfer, because Red Bull normally always chooses drivers from its own breeding ground. That breeding ground seems to be running out at the moment. Current AlphaTauri riders Daniil Kvyat and Pierre Gasly have both already had a stint with the Red Bull team and Alexander Albon doesn’t seem to stay with the team for long if the results continue to disappoint.

Why is Albon not doing a good job? Perez is in a faster car then Albon is this year and Albon has managed to finish ahead when they were fighting each other, so why is Perez considered a better driver than Albon. He would have been on the podium twice so far ( perhaps even have won one of them) if it wasn’t for the accidents with Hamilton on both occasions.
