RENAULT ANNOUNCES RICCIARDO’S REPLACEMENT ON WEDNESDAY

The announcement is a shock to many but there is one guy who very much welcomes the news.
The deal has already been made between the Losange and its double F1 world champion, the only one to have won the world title on a Renault. It is assumed that the talks have been going on for some time
Fernando Alonso could make a sensational comeback in F1 with Renault two years after leaving McLaren.
The Formula 1 team Renault is reportedly planning to announce this week the replacement for Daniel Ricciardo in 2021. Spanish journalist Noemi de Miguel reports this in a message on Twitter.
Renault team boss Cyril Abiteboul already informed several team members last weekend that an announcement will come on Wednesday. The Frenchman also said that some of them have already worked with the drivers in the past. Whether it’s Fernando Alonso, Nico Hulkenberg or any other driver, it will be announced later this week.
Renault was shocked when Daniel Ricciardo announced a surprising move earlier this year, which will see him leaving to the McLaren F1 team. The Australian will take the place of Carlos Sainz, who in turn replaces Sebastian Vettel with Ferrari.
