IS THIS FERRARI’S 2020 F1 CAR?

Leaked images of Ferrari’s car for the 2020 season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport has released an image purporting to be the design of Ferrari’s 2020 Formula 1 challenger.
Ferrari will hope that this year’s car – titled thus far ‘Project 671’ – is more successful on-track than the SF90, which was unable to extract the maximum from the mighty Scuderia engine until too late in the 2019 campaign.
Charles Leclerc or Sebastian Vettel were unable to secure a race win until after the mid-season break in F1, amid a combination of poor performance and harsh luck, allowing Mercedes to romp to a sixth straight title double, breaking Ferrari’s record in the process.
Team principal Mattia Binotto has said that the search for added downforce will be key to Ferrari’s hopes in 2020.
To that end, Gazzetta claims that Ferrari will introduce radically different wings, as well as a hydraulic damper system – which will reportedly be banned in 2021 – in order to create as much vertical load as possible.
